Golf, Curated: A Different Side of the Game
For three days Lisbon became a meeting point for a different side of golf.
From September 3rd to 5th Golf, Curated brought together brands, artists, designers and golfers from across Europe all connected by a shared idea: that golf can be much more than what happens between the first tee and the eighteenth green.
MATIZE joined Parmore, Club72, Soft Hands Club, Depeche Golf and Mogshade for the Lisbon edition a weekend built around play, design, culture and above all community.
Three Days One Community
The weekend began at Albatross Club with a golf night that set the tone for what followed: golf, music, food, drinks and people coming together around the game in a completely different setting.

On Friday the focus shifted from playing to discovering.
Eritage became a home for the participating brands bringing their collections, stories and founders together under one roof. More than a pop-up it became a space for conversation, creativity and exchange showing how much golf culture is evolving beyond performance and technical apparel.
The final day brought everyone back to the course at Lisbon Sports Club, where a sunset scramble closed the weekend in the way it had started: through the game itself but with the social and cultural side of golf always close by.
Where Golf Meets Art
The Lisbon edition also marked the launch of PLAYING IS PRAYING a T-shirt created with British artist David Shillinglaw for Golf, Curated.

Built around the meeting point between art and golf the collaboration reflects something that was present throughout the weekend: different forms of expression connected through play.
Golf becomes more than sport. It becomes the places we visit the people we meet the conversations after a round and the culture that continues to grow around it.
A New Perspective on Golf
For MATIZE being part of Golf Curated felt natural.
We have always seen golf as something that extends beyond the course. It can exist alongside art, music, travel, design and everything that happens before and after a round. It is a sport rooted in tradition. Also one with plenty of space for new ideas and new perspectives.
Golf, Curated brought that thinking to life.
Different brands, countries and different approaches to the game came together in Lisbon not to redefine golf completely but to show another side of it: more creative more social and more connected, to contemporary culture.
Three days of golf, art, conversations and new connections.
Another reminder that some of the best parts of the game happen beyond the scorecard.
